Overview
The question primer introduces basic tasks that engage with a key question form, in this case ‘what?’ They are useful as a warm-up or stop-gap activity. They also link to the CSI framework theme. Jordan Peterson is constantly pushing the point that you have to know yourself; how can you change the world if you cannot clean your bedroom? But this philosophy has been around for a far longer time and it is basic common sense, at least to most parents but maybe not academics.
Schwartz (1992,1994, 2012) provides an interesting view on values that we hold. The interesting conundrum is that the values we hold today may not necessarily be those of tomorrow. They are constantly evolving with new knowledge, but the more knowledge we get the more we can make informed decisions, but first you have to ask the questions.
