Overview
Your analysis will only be as good as the problem you identified and the parameters you set during the design phase.
The Finnish Forest Industry has been at the forefront of exploiting the world’s natural resources. The interesting question is whether it applies the same standards on the management of the Forests in Finland as it does when it invests overseas. Which comes first – the environment or profit? The Empires of the past in all parts of the world (not just Europe) had companies (e.g. East India Company) or military campaigns to exploit their colonial conquests. Finland has flagship companies; they are called the Finnish forest industry – have they been doing the same in the third world? The Unit explores Metsä-Botnia, a major Finnish forest company and events in Argentina during the construction of a new facility.

"What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another" – Mahatma Ghandi
