Conflict problems often generate a great deal of data and information. It is necessary to have a process where this can be managed. Classification is an important step in allowing the data/information to become accessible and form the basis for analysis.
The focus of this Unit is on the different forms of violence that have been observed in Finland.

Street gangs/Collective Violence is the norm in Finland, It has been for a long time but for some reason, Finnish decision-makers always seem to say it is an imported problem, not restricted to Finland or there are greater problems overseas. Taking ownership of the problem is the first step to resolution and Finnish decision-makers do not seem to take this basic step…the question then is why…
