Overview
Delimiting the time frame of the conflict problem you want to examine will be a key determinant of whether your investigation is functional or not. A timeframe that is too wide and it generates a lot of data…that can be unwieldy. Too narrow and there may not be enough data to come up with a viable analysis or solutions.
Talvivaara was a national embarrassment for Finland involving financial, legal and environmental machinations. The case raises some uncomfortable questions as to why this was allowed to persist.
